No Debate in Thailand

The Dean of the political science department at Thammasat University is trying to organize a debate between the leaders of the four main parties contesting the upcoming national election. However, Prime Minister Thaksin has not agreed to participate. No doubt he thinks his own victory is a foregone conclusion and sees no reason to expose himself to criticism by the other party leaders.
